Nothing can strike a memory, a spark, and emotion more than a certain scent. Certain smells can trigger something within us, and make us well up with emotions. Whenever I smell Light Blue I think of my mom getting ready to go out for the evening when I was a child. Whenever I smell a campfire, I think of my Uncle who took me to the country western town Rawhide when I was little, and I would watch the crackling fires and take in that lovely, woody scent. Lavender reminds me of my husband.  All of these beautiful memories to say, that scent is a wonderful, powerful player in our lives, and I love to surround myself with them. Whether I am burning a candle, lighting incense or sprinkling essential oils around my house, I am always surrounding myself with beautiful, natural scents. I went a little crazy- Sephora became my new best friend and worst enemy (as in, I tried nearly every product in the store and most would agitate my skin even more.)
